Isabel Bayón

He was born in Seville, and at the age of five he began to dance at the School of Matilde Coral and obtained the title of Spanish Dance at sixteen, at the Conservatories of Córdoba and Seville.

Throughout his career he has participated in numerous festivals nationally and internationally. He has shared the stage with many renowned artists in the flamenco world, from Antonio Mairena to Chano Lobato, Mario Maya, El Pele, Israel Galván and Miguel Poveda, among others.

In 2001 he formed his own company, creating since then shows like “Del Alma”, “La Mujer y El Pelele”, “La Puerta Abierta” (Giraldillo Award for the best show), “Tórtola Valencia” (Giraldillo Award at the magic moment) ), “En la Horma de sus Zapatos” (Giraldillo Award for Dance), “Caprichos del Tiempo” (Prize of the critic of the Festival de Jerez 2013). At the moment it prepares the new production “Dju-Dju” directed by Israel Galván, that will be released in the next edition of the Flamenco Biennial of Seville 2016.
