In its XX edition, the Biennial also expands to new points such as Factoría Cultural, a scenic space located in the Polígono Sur and where flamenco is lived naturally. Precisely in this space will develop the cycle “Of the Hand of …”, one of the novelties of this year, a proposal that pursues the discovery of new artists sponsored by figures of the stature of the cantaor José Valencia, the guitarist Gerardo Núñez or the dancer Farruquito.
Antonio Amaya “El Petete” will transfer us with “CINCO SENTÍO” in his dance to the place where the cante metals sound and to the beat of the hammer a gypsy dances … anvil, nail and hook …, back in the forge, with the strumming of a guitar that opens the door of the baile por seguiriya to pay homage to the Caganchos de Triana with their cantes de forge. From the bank of the Guadalquivir River we will arrive to the Bay of Cadiz dancing for joy remembering the Chano Lobato, Camarón and the Perla de Cai masters, to end up taking us inland where the loneliness of the soul is, you who make me dance, help me transmit what you teach me when I am in my solitude, soleá my soul.
