In 2004 la Bienal celebrates its first quarter of century. This is the theme that reflects a whole year of programme with a number of activities: ‘Navidad flamenca’, ‘Saeta’, ‘La Bienal solidaria’, ‘Más jóvenes, más flamencos’… The main event begins September the 2nd and ends October the 10th –one of the biggest and longest ever. Besides, the poster is created by the legendary Antoni Tàpies.

Paco de Lucía in the Auditorio Rocío Jurado; Tomatito, Miguel Poveda, José Menese, Dorantes, the Compañía Andaluza de Danza, the Eva Yerbabuena Ballet, El Lebrijano and Antonio Canales at the Teatro de la Maestranza; Chocolate, Pansequito, Aurora Vargas, Calixto Sánchez, Juana Amaya or Serranito at the Lope de Vega; Isabel Bayón, Andrés Marín, Pedro Ricardo Miño, Diego Carrasco or Gerardo Núñez at the Teatro Central… Great artists featured on an edition that’s also hosted at the Hotel Triana and the Teatro Alameda.
