A trio of aces opens la Bienal VIII: Enrique Morente, Manolo Sanlúcar and Mario Maya premiere “Puerta del Príncipe”. The Teatro de la Maestranza hosts gems like the legendary Enrique Morente’s “A oscuras”, Esperanza Fernández and José Antonio Rodríguez’s “De la luna al viento” with Carmen Linares, Rafael Riqueni and María Pagés or the homage to the elders gathered in “Venerables”. Other great artists featured are Cristina Hoyos and the Compañía Andaluza de Danza, Paco de Lucía with his sextet or Javier Latorre. The Lope de Vega theater also feature Vicente Amigo, Ricardo Miño and Pepa Miño, Manuel de Paula, Carmen Cortés… This edition lasts 16 days offering 26 shows, besides seminaries, exhibitions and other activities crowned by the cheerful poster created by artist Juan Romero.
